Black Sedan on Road

A passion for helping others led Dr. Hittle down the path of Audiology into a career that allows her to provide her patients with high quality care. Hearing the sound of a loved one saying your name, the ability to communicate effectively with others in important settings such as school, work and get togethers with friends or simply enjoy the sounds of nature in your backyard are what move her as a professional to help you live your fullest life with less struggle and more ease in communicating.

ABOUT COMMUNITY AUDIOLOGY

WE COME TO YOU!  At Community Audiology we believe that professional, high-end audiologic services provided by an experienced audiologist should be available to all even if you find it difficult to get to a provider's office, whether due to lack of transportation or simply scheduling issues. We work with local independent living, assisted living and retirement communities to schedule and provide self-pay services for residents.

As a local audiologist, Dr. Hittle makes sure patients have time to get to know her and her professional background so they’ll feel comfortable with their care choice. She has been delivering high-quality personalized audiologic care to the Southern Maine area for over a decade and looks forward to providing even more individualized services to those she have the pleasure of working with.

HEARING AID REPAIR

Hearing aids are intricate devices that have several components that must be functioning to keep them working optimally.  Often, it may not be necessary to replace a hearing aid, but simply repair it.  Some repairs are able to be done in person, while others may need to be sent into the manufacturer for more significant repair.  We have experience with all major manufacturers and can assist you with this process.
